    2014-05-03 Royaume-Uni Swanage
    Kyarra

Difficulty descending the shot line as feet felt floaty! slightly narked. viz not great, about 3m. jem rummaging for treasure, so much so that we lost the wreck for a couple of minutes. jem terrified me somehow by shining his torch on several shimmering pollack under a bit of wreckage - thought they were pirate zombies from the night before! found a good area of the wreck that I remembered from previous dives on the Kyrra. bottom time 28mins.

The dive site was situated where the ferry to Gozo was based. The carpark was packed and hard work getting passed the other divers and into the water, however we were the only divers on the wreck! A 50m long scuttled patrol boat. We arrived at the stern and swam along the wreck. Viz was about 25m. I played with the gun on the deck in front of the wheelhouse before performing my Titanic pose at the bow. Swam back to Suzie's pool, a little reef, which was swarming in divers. We sat and watched several groups of them. One poor girl was being pined to a rock whilst the group lined up for a professional photograph. Jem found a baby octopus under an overhang which sadly I didn't see. We also found a sleeping cuttlefish just before leaving via a jellyfish soup.
