Shearwater dive uploads

Hi all,

Quick question.... has anyone found a way to transfer dive logs from their Shearwater software onto DiveBoard?

Shearwater software can export to Dan ZXU format but that doesn't seem to upload into DiveBoard.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

hey guys ,, i just love diving so much and i done my open water so far back in dahab the red sea ,now im here in indian ocean and im looking for any dive center to do intrenship and dive more .. so any 1 knows any where

Is "scuba=adventure" the best positioning to attract new divers?

Everywhere you look, the scuba industry - from agencies to dive shops to manufacturers - is selling "adventure" as the reason people should take up diving. As a marketer for the past 25yrs, a diver for the past 8yrs, and an instructor since last year, I've never been convinced that's the right approach to attracting new divers.

So recently I conducted a market research study with divers (n=239) and non-divers (n=219) to determine if there's anything different about how they see themselves that might explain why some people dive... and some don't.

I won't go crazy with full methodology in a post here (certainly not my first one) but one of the key pieces of data that jumped out at me is...

Diveboard news: Introducing the Diveboard agent

Since the very beginning you've been able to upload dives from your dive computer through the Diveboard plugin that was running within your web browser and connecting to your dive computers. This has worked great so far but came with a few issues such as the lack of an offline mode - you needed to be online and logged in to grab your dive profiles and upload them. Moreover browsers will soon drop the support for plugins like this. So we needed to evolve our plugin towards a more future proof solution.

So we crated the Divebaord Agent.

Just like the plugin, it will work on Mac/Linux/Windows. The agent lives in the tray and will connect to your dive computer and upload dive profiles to...

I went on a diving trip to Dumaguete, Philippines in August, 2014. I arrived at the diving shop around 12nn. The name of the shop is Liquid Dumaguete.

Day 1After simple lunch, I joined the shore dive at 2pm. Because the boat of the shop was in Apo Island for their diving day trip, we took a jeep to the breach of the dive site and geared up there.
