Notes du plongeur

Best dive to date at the farnes with glad tidings 3. pulled up at the pier and met a guy from Holland Rob Poot. we got on board glad tidings boat and headed north for an hour. Paul and i were last into the water. while on the surface waiting for paul i looked down to check vis which i saw the wreck i was gobsmacked that i cud see the ground! was only 10m but wow! we headed down the shot line and had a scout around the wreckage. It is a sandy bottom. we swam around the 3 big boilers where their was a valve in the sand with a brass thread looked funny cos it was not corroded like the rest of the wreck. we came across what we thought were some bombs but they were fixed in place i tried to dig them out but the were stuck fast. I found a big rusty bolt which i pulled out of the wreck and i carried it round the whole dive. Paul and i swam thru the big hole thru the boiler and we found a massive lobster hiding in a great little dome with a hole at the top near the shot line. we did about 5 laps of the wreck and we were just hanging around at the end to reach 1hr! class dive!
