Notes du plongeur

Water was between 79-81F. Used a 2mm o'neill jacket with a thermalution 70m heated shirt set at medium for most of the dive. No other thermal protection. Dive was comfortable, but I did get cold waiting for my roommate to finish in the shower. Turning the shirt up to high helped--but created a strange feeling of being very warm in the core but freezing on my head.

Visibility was bad. Lots of small debris in the water, probably due in no small part to shifting currents. South current @ ~3knts at beginning of dive, north current @ ~1knt at the end of the dive.

Large school of red tooth triggers (juveniles) free swimming along the wall. Several chromo nudis. Enormous spotted yellow moray. Reeftop (?) pipefish in the shallows at the end of the dive. Also very well camouflaged scorpionfish and a lionfish being mildly aggressive at our egress point.

Entry was boat (taxi), exit was walk out (jetty).

Mask drills and OOA drills @50' approx. 50min into dive.

Seemed about 2lbs too heavy at the beginning of the dive, but good buoyancy at end with 500psi 100cuft.

Missing species:
Chromodoris magnifica (added via EOL number, not available via search at time of update)
Unknown scorpionfish
Unknown lionfish
Unsure pipefish (reeftop, best guess)
