    Inchcape 2

The waves are high and upon surfacing our boat wasn't there. We have been afloat for about and hour with surge as high as 4 feet. We decided to swim for shore at around the 1 hour marker but we realized the shore entry is rock and not sand and hoping we don't get crushed into the rock by the waves. We waited there for 2 hours until the coastguard rescued us and brought us to the location of our boat. The boat is now on another part out of the sea and in the sandy beach brought in by a large wave. The coastguard pulled the boat using one of their gunship and as soon as it hit the water again it listed to the starboard and sank. A while a chopper was circling into the cove and I though we would be airlifted but they aborted it as it would be risky due to high winds. In the end we were pulled into the boat by pairs using a recreational floatation bridge and all equipment was left behind. We were able to reach the port safe with minor injuries.

Visibility was bad that we lost contact with our dive leader. We waited for a few minutes on the bottom before deciding to surface.
