This mildly converted platform is based right in the heart of the coral triangle, in Sabah, Malaysia Borneo. This metal monstrosity was once commissioned as an exploration jack up rig in the oil and gas industry and now revamped as the Seaventures Dive Rig. A unique dive resort and the only one of its kind in the world, Seaventures still maintains the allure and spirit of a working rig yet the rooms are made more comfortable, the food highly acclaimed, service exemplary and diving world class.

Solo dive under the Seaventures house rig, v. fun getting bearings and learning landmarks. Very well camoflauged rock fish x2 Mantis shrimp hiding Absolutely massive eel hiding in a pipe, maybe 2’ wide Crocodile fish, several School of bat fish on descent from platform Giant box fish resting his head in a pipe

Dive 3/3 on Sipadan day 1. So many sharks. White tips and grey reefs in the deep. Three white tip sharks being cleaned, could get up close to see. Small schools of barracuda. Massive schools of batfish two feet around like dinner plates.

Eat, sleep & dive.. Not tired coz of diving but coz of non-stop eating
The food was GREAT, love their cooking. Tank replaced done by DM, you just walk to the elevator then enjoy your dive trip.
