Children's PADI Courses: Bubblemaker
The PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Junior Scuba Diver course takes two days and covers a little more than half of the full PADI Open Water Diver course: Knowledge Development Sessions 1-3 (of five); Confined Water Dives 1-3 (of five); and Open Water Dives 1 and 2 (of four).
A day or two before the course we will deliver the PADI Open Water Diver manual to your hotel so you can study the dive theory in advance, therefore reducing the amount of time you have to spend in the classroom.
The start of day one will then be spent in the classroom where you will review what you've been studying, watch three chapters of the PADI Open Water Diver course DVD, and take three short quizzes. The rest of day one will be in the swimming pool, where you'll learn all the necessary dive skills to be a safe and confident scuba diver.
On day two we will take you diving at Tulamben or Blue Lagoon to test your dive skills and discover the wonderful underwater world during your qualifying open water dives.

PADI Courses: Open Water Diver
Now is the time to do it! You've always wanted to, haven't you? So come on - join us at AquaMarine Diving - Bali and dive into PADI's Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver course.
Through the Open Water course, you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive theory, equipment and techniques, over the course of 3 days. The certification is recognised worldwide and is earned by completing five Knowledge Development (class) sessions, five Confined Water (pool) sessions where you'll practice scuba skills and learn to breathe underwater as well as get used to your scuba gear. Then it's time for your four Open Water (sea) dives on Bali's beautiful north east coast reefs and even a wreck! AquaMarine recommends doing your Open Water dives in Tulamben (we believe this is where you'll really fall in love with diving) or in Blue Lagoon in Padangbai rather than at the inferior reefs, with more difficult conditions, in the south of Bali. You may also choose to overnight near the dive site of your choice.
Because the course is performance-based, you get as much time as you need to practice your new skills prior to certification, although we generally schedule three days. Above all, AquaMarine's instructors will ensure that not only is your course low-stress and safe, but you will have great fun, too.
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive independently with a buddy, and if you have already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with us to see how credit from these courses may apply to the Open Water Diver course.
You can begin studying the diving theory as soon as you want, in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace, and so be fully-prepared to meet with your AquaMarine PADI instructor by completing e-Learning or purchasing an Open Water manual from your local dive shop. Alternatively, we can deliver a manual to your hotel where you can study by the pool, on the beach, or under a convenient mango tree!
The PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Junior Open Water Diver courses are your ticket to dive anywhere at any time, and once you discover how easy and fun scuba diving is, you'll want to share it with friends and family - bring them along to try our special 1 Day Introductory Adventure Dive programme, or the PADI Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water courses.
For you, the PADI Open Water or PADI Junior Open Water Diver, your next step will be PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.

PADI Courses: Advanced Open Water
Looking for the ultimate adventure?
You've found it!
PADI's Advanced Open Water Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver programme will help you fine-tune your dive skills, increase your abilities and experiences, and explore some of Bali's top dive sites.
The course is a structured programme that gives certified divers the chance to sample some of diving's most popular specialties, as well as gain additional experience and skills with one of AquaMarine's experienced PADI instructors.
Students need to complete five dives: two core dives, which are Deep and Underwater Navigation; and three elective dives.
The elective dives allow divers to sample a diving specialty that interests them. At AquaMarine, we offer the following PADI Specialties:
AWARE-Fish Identification
Boat Diver
Digital Underwater Photography
Drift Diver
Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
Multilevel Computer Diver
Night Diver
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search and Recovery Diver
Underwater Naturalist
Underwater Navigator
Wreck Diver
Additional costs will be involved on some elective dives, and at times, some options may not be available. Some electives have a minimum age limit so talk to your AquaMarine PADI Instructor and decide together what dives will be best for you.
After completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification, you'll be more confident diver with more varied experience and ready to start thinking about the next step: the PADI Rescue Diver or PADI Junior Rescue Diver course.

PADI Courses: Rescue Diver
How does AquaMarine Diving - Bali take a subject like accident prevention and management and turn it into fun? We give you the PADI Rescue Diver or PADI Junior Rescue Diver course.
This course teaches you to focus on other divers as well as yourself, showing you how to recognise and prevent potential diving accidents before they occur, as well as how to handle them if they do. This is also a great course for younger divers, showing them how to be responsible in the water both for their own benefit and for others diving with them.
We do require divers to complete their EFR (Emergency First Response) course prior to starting their Rescue Course. This can be done prior to your arrival or we can complete the course at our south Bali offices. This certification must have been completed within 2 years in order for you to qualify and be issued by an internationally recognised institution.
During the course you'll learn how to effectively perform diver-assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. The programme is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver.
The PADI Rescue Diver or PADI Junior Rescue Diver course covers the following items: self-rescue and diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management and equipment considerations, swimming and non-swimming assists, panicked diver response, underwater problems, missing diver procedures, surfacing the unconscious diver, in-water artificial respiration, first aid procedures for pressure-related accidents, and diving accident scenarios.
By the time you finish the Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver courses, you'll be a qualified first responder - whether an accident occurs in or out of the water.
