• Qaruh has a separate reef around its North Marker, hosting jacks and Needlefish, Batfish and Barracuda.
• Kubbar Island has some nice reef with some beautiful marine life.
• Airifjan Wreck at 5 Mile Reef is an old barge lying in 12 metres alongside the reef. At night, sea pens can be seen, and sand sharks are sometimes found sheltering under the hull.

The best spots to snorkel in Kuwait:
